Kshatriya Rajput Sabha, Telangana, established in Hyderabad in 1944, is a dynamic platform for Rajputs and allied Kshatriya castes to unite, uphold heritage, and serve society. Sabha celebrates valor and culture through events like Independence Day and Maharana Pratap Jayanti, with leaders such as Thakur Jaiveer Singh and Thakur Santosh Singh sharing updates and honoring contributions. Active trustees, youth, and basti sakhas drive leadership and pride across the community.
Maharana Pratap Singh (1540 - 1597) stands as an immortal hero of the Rajputs, remembered for his unmatched courage, valor, and unyielding spirit of freedom. He dedicated his life to defending his kingdom’s sovereignty against the Mughal Empire. Unlike many rulers of his time, Maharana Pratap never surrendered or compromised his freedom, choosing to endure hardships in forests and mountains rather than submit to foreign rule.
His courage at the Battle of Haldighati (1576) became immortal, where despite facing a far larger Mughal army, he fought fearlessly and protected the dignity of Mewar. His loyal horse Chetak is remembered as a companion who displayed the same Rajput spirit of sacrifice. He embodies the Rajput, ideals of वीरता • स्वाभिमान • धर्म • स्वतंत्रता and in modern times, Rajputs see Maharana Pratap as a guiding light. His story inspires Rajput youth to balance tradition with progress, and to carry forward the same indomitable spirit into every field — whether in leadership, service, or community strength.
His life continues to inspire today’s Rajputs to uphold the values of bravery, sacrifice, and pride in their heritage.
